GREAT DECISIONS FOR 2006

The Concord-Clayton Great Decisions discussion group will organize again to meet for eight weeks starting in February. Great Decisions is a program of the Foreign Policy Association and is America's longest-standing global affairs education program. It features in-depth articles on various timely topics which groups across the country read about and discuss in eight weekly meetings.

This year, the topics include UN Reform; The U.S. and Iran; Energy Resources; Brazil; China and India: Partners or Competitors; Human Rights in the Age of Terrorism; Turkey; and Pandemics and Security. The topic Briefing Books are available to help with information and discussion. If you wish to have one ordered for you, please notify Joanne Brown (jbrownaauw@astound.net) or JoAnn Caspar (gaycaspar@aol.com) by December 10th. The cost should be about $15.

If you haven't attended before, contact one of us about the group, which is very informative but informal. The group generally meets on Monday at 3:30 p.m. during February and March. Newcomers are always welcome.
